During the vice presidential debate on Thursday, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she "may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear." In fact, "On at least 10 occasions, Palin gave answers that were nonspecific, completely generic, pivoted away from the question at hand, or simply ignored it." On NBC’s Meet The Press today, debate moderator Gwen Ifill said that Palin "more than ignored" her questions. "Blew me off I think is the technical term," said Ifill. Watch it:

I didn't see the debate, but I heard that Ifill hardly ever asked follow-up questions whenever Palin went on and on about something completely unrelated to the original question Ifill asked.
If true, then Ifill is at least partially to blame for Palin blowing her off.
(Not that the follow-up questions would get Palin to answer the question either.)

Was Ifill holding back because she had been accused by the McCain campaign of being biased in favor of Obama?

...She's a "Pit Viper"...

All she seems capible of doing on the world stage is to "spew venom" and "slither" away from anything resembling "Truth"...

But, she is "Folksy"!

Ifill blew off Americans with no control or follow-ups to the questions..especially when the questions had been deliberately avoided.

Then to report on "herself' the next day was absolutely totally ingenuous.

Give me a breaK.

pbs IS Bush
