Starbucks campaign

Gawker highlights the latest publicity stunt from Starbucks:

This is not someone who has innocently and accidentally left her coffee cup on top of her car. This is someone who is being paid to drive around the city with a coffee cup affixed to the top of her car, so that when people start shouting from the sidewalk, or honking from alongside, to let her know she has coffee on her roof, she can yell back, "Yeah, I know. When somebody gets hurt trying to save the Starbuck's lady from spilling coffee all over her head, I want to be the lawyer to sue. Please!!!!!!!!!

So, their gimmick hangs on people feeling a sense of responsibility to try to keep the apparently clueless driver from harming car/self/bystanders with coffee spillage, only to reveal it was a mindfuck.

And they expect people not to be angry?

Washington state seems to offer the world the worst monsters. From Boeing giant, to Microsoft blood suckers, to greedy Starbucks, the world is infected with poisons from a seemingly nice state.

The aggressive marketing strategy carried out by Starbucks has discouraged me to the point of boycotting. I have not been to a Starbucks for over two years and am proud of myself for doing this.

Domination and greed are the two operating principles from monstrous corporations from Washington. The world is going to get sick of them soon.

Actually these people that are driving around with the Starbucks cup on their car's aren't just yelling happy holidays. They give out free drink coupons to good samaritans. Yea it's kind of silly, but not really "Evil Corporation" behavior.
And really, Starbucks isn't so terrible. It's not every company that gives their employee's health care when they only work 20 hours a week.
