We're like a country that has been held together with toxic bubble gum, an occasional band aide, and other substances as available ($70 billion bailout comes to mind). My hope for Obama is that he will begin to formulate ideas and plans in response to the important messages coming his way from so many sources.

My other hope is that we continue a process of taking responsibility for our roles in our collective mess.   I hope that we find the inner strength to watch, listen, and support those of us who can speak truth about our wrongs with humility, and use our errors to steer a new course towards our survival.
