Take the Money Out of Politics
So long as money equals power in politics, the change that we need, the change that must come, the change that you promised will remain nothing more than a rhetorical campaign slogan. A six-letter word full of hope, dreams and expectations, yet signifying nothing. Change is inherently amorphous, nebulous and subjective -- difficult to measure and impossible to ever fully achieve. Start at the beginning by fixing the process, changes in the outcomes will naturally follow. Return the American government to the people: Complete and comprehensive campaign finance reform. It is our only chance to put democracy back ahead of capitalism.
