The Washington Nationals ballpark is the first stadium to be LEED Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Yet the Nationals continue to accept millions of advertising dollars from Exxon, by far one of the world's biggest contributors to global warming.

We've had early success in our campaign as Exxon has already stopped sponsoring the 7th-Inning Stretch. Now we're looking to have the team's assurance that the park will never sell corporate naming rights to the oil giant.

Strike Out Exxon!

You rather waste resources on a publicity stunt. At the end of the day is the time and loss of resources worth this childish game of gotcha.

I think this is his calculated way of getting his message across to black voters. if this was other media, maybe, but in Fox news? I don't think so.

What about the black sticky goo ala Valdez? It seems to be cheaper to name a stadium than to pay the full cost of environmental damage created. Even the lagal costs are more, but profits count!

hell no... because nobody but the poor bastards who can afford the nosebleed seats or the cronies with the corporate business box seats ever show up...

if you can't get any Americans to pop their thumbs our of their arses to wander into their local representative's office to complain about international & domestic human rights abuses or wiretapping ... can you expect them to give a damn about showing up to protest Global Warming?

The World is slowly losing respect for American *individuals*... because they don't give a damn about anybody but themselves.
