On MSNBC today, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) explained to host Norah O'Donnell that he refused former Sen. Phil Gramm's entreaties for him to endorse Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) because he disagrees with him "on all the major issues," especially foreign policy. "I mean I could never support somebody who thinks that it's funny to say 'bomb bomb bomb Iran,'" said Paul. "That, to me, is not somebody that I could endorse ever." Watch it:

In April 2007, McCain sang "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boy's "Barbara Ann" when asked at a town hall "when America is going to 'send an air mail message to Tehran.'"

Ron Paul should be in Obama's Cabinet

Paul is a grounded, responsible example of the very kind of character this country is nostalgic for.

Someone you may not agree with, but someone you can respect.

Did you notice that she didn't ask him who he is supporting? I guess her minders wouldn't want him to mention some "nasty" third party candidate, would they?

"JUST A GAWD DAMN PIECE OF PAPER"

"ARTICLE I Section 9 (3) Attainder-Ex Post Facto laws. No bill of attainder or Ex Post facto shall be passed." United States Constitution.

Two months ago I entered into a CONTRACT with a bank to buy a Foreign country certificate of Deposit. This bail-out is going to directly impact that C/D "after the fact" which is what Ex Post Facto means. I stand to lose a substantial sum of money because of this "bail-out" (communist taking--and if you think it thru that is exactly what it is)by the Federal Government to protect a bunch of greedy assholes and a cotrie of inept or more to the point crooks in the government; and we the taxpayers are going to be hung with a couple of TRILLION dollars of toxic garbage.

To compound the constitutional problem is "Article I Section 10(1) Powers denied Individual states--pass any Bill of attainder or Expost Facto law, OR IMPAIR LAW IMPAIRING THE RIGHT OF CONTRACT." By interfering i favor of the very wealthy, Congress is being asked to pass such a law that is obviously class discrimination which then becomes a violation of the 14th Amendment!!

Yup, truly the Constitution of the United States of America has become JUST A GAWD DAMN PIECE OF PAPER which 6 months from now won't be worth the price of toliet paper.

Would you loan a government such as this has become, any money?? Carlos

Ron Paul although I can't agree with a lot of his policies. He's the real "straight talker" compared to McCain.

The fact that the Republican Party had made a concerted effort to keep him out of the debates and downright ignore him makes me a fan of his.
