Hey Obama Campaign, Have You Seen This?

The Obama camp needs to launch a fresh, timely attack that will make the McCain campaign splutter. This is it.

Sarah Palin said two things which can be pegs for an attack ad of this kind:

1. War with Russia could happen over the Georgia conflict

2. Soldiers going to Iraq are fighting the people who killed thousands of Americans on Sept. 11.

The Obama camp needs to launch a fresh, timely attack that will make the McCain campaign splutter. This is it.

I know, I know...garageband is fun. But damn...these apocalyptic loopy ditties from amateur DJ types is JUST TOO MUCH. LOSE it! PLEASE!

the sound track does NOT provide thematic continuity, it doesn't provide anything but distraction.

So, please, guys who are doing these youtube vids....JUST LEAVE THEM OFF?

thanks

Are we ready to play RISK with the RUSSIANS? - GOP style

It was a good piece on U Tube and I share the view. America is about images and impressions, it's no better or worse that what we see out of the campaigns. Here's MY view. Yes, about images and something Palin said that scares the hell out of me.

That we could go to war over Georgia. Of all the ways she could have answered Charlie Gibson's question was with something less flip than MAYBE we COULD!

It's this: Palin and Putin: Is she ready to play RISK with the RUSSIANS?

A truly compelling video describing the dangerously cavalier attitude of John McCain regarding loss of life for Americans as well as whoever else is deemed our enemy (oil rich countries) receives a smattering of comment, most of which is callously derisive. On Alternet of all places.

The gods must be crazy.

Democracy, the Great Experiment.

Going, going, gone.

Mac is the Real Life Manchurian Candidate, with a good dose of vindictiveness, Neurosis, arrogance, and Alzheimers.
Palin is a self anointed 'Chosen One' who prioritizes her political ambitions over even delivering a baby Safely.Blows away wolves From a Plane, so she can get their foreleg as a trophy. Doesn't know anything about the rest of the Country she apparently despised a couple years back. and Only has foreign affairs experience with the Indiginous Tribes she has been screwing over in AK.

They're latest SCAM.....

There was lots of messages in this video. I really appreciate the inclusion of the pain and suffering of the Iraqis. (Isn't it just amazing that pro-lifers love to inflict death on other people?)

Including Pat Buchanan's quotes was good. This video would be excellent for a 527 to put up, such as MoveOn.org. The music would be appropriate in a 527 ad because it lends an air of urgency to the message.

I got news for ya'll... Obama will continue the Iraq war for as long as it takes. Not only that, but he will also attack Iran, if given the chance, even if just to appease Israel. If elected, Obama will come out of the deal a very rich man.

Wake up sheeple! It's all an illusion! There is no difference what so ever between a Repub and Dem!

Com'on, say it with me fellow Americans: baaaaaaa baaaaaa

End race-baiting on FAUX - Can you help get this out?

Call out Fox on its pattern of racist smears against Senator Obama and Black people in general. We need to send a strong, clear message to Fox executives that weak apologies won't pacify us--- we want the race-baiting and fear-mongering to end.

Fox is a huge corporation and they need to feel a huge push-back from us---so we need as many voices as possible. Can you ask your friends and family to join our call?

Below you'll find a brief letter you can send. Personalize it as you wish or write your own, but please send it along right away. Also, please only contact people who know you personally. Spam will hurt the effort.

You can cut and paste the text below into an email message:

Dear Friends,

Right now, Fox News is trying to paint Barack Obama as foreign, un-American, suspicious, and scary. They're trying to send Americans the message that our country's first viable Black candidate for President is not "one of us."

I've joined on to ColorOfChange.org's campaign to push back on Fox, publicly demanding they stop their race-baiting and fear mongering. If that doesn't work, then we'll go to their advertisers and the FCC. I wanted to invite you to sign on as well. It takes only a moment:

http://www.colorofchange.org/foxobama/?id=2039-652685

Here's what happened recently:

After Senator Obama won the nomination, he and his wife gave each other a "pound" in front of the cameras. Fox anchor E.D. Hill called the act of celebration a "terrorist fist jab." Then last week, a Fox News on-screen graphic referred to Michelle Obama as "Obama's baby mama"--slang used to describe the unmarried mother of a man's child. It was a clear attempt to associate the Obamas with negative cultural stereotypes about Black people, an insult not only to Michelle Obama but to women and Black people everywhere.

After each of the incidents mentioned, Fox issued some form of weak apology. But what does it mean when you slap someone in the face, apologize the next day, then slap them again on the third? It means the apology is meaningless.

These aren't one-time incidents--they're part of a pattern that continues no matter how often Fox is forced to apologize. Fox has a clear record of attacking and undermining Black institutions, Black leaders, and Black people in general.

If we don't push back now, we will see more of the same from now until November. Please join me in helping to bring an end to Fox's behavior.

Thanks.

Wow - what an effective clip! Every American should see this!!!!! We can't afford four more years of Republican leadership! Vote Democrats in office across the board.

We need to re-establish our identity - who ARE we anyway? Some trigger happy empire bullying the rest of the world or are we a kind, peaceful, prosperous people that other nations want to emulate? We can't be both and we get to choose with our votes.

The segment with Pat Buchanan could be it's own 30 second spot. It would really great if votevets.org put it up in a tv ad.

My dad sent me this video. I sent it to EVERYONE in my address book, even business contacts, even right-wing Republicans. I said to watch it with an open mind; if you are moved, pass it on, if you are offended let me know. No one let me know they were offended, one Republican friend wrote about "concern about capitulation." I asked if he had ever heard of the concept of "FACE" - how leaders need to have room to back down in a way that saves face. Please send this to EVERYONE - not just liberal/progressives - it is something everyone needs to see/hear.

One thing that concerns me about this video, there are several times when McCain is supposedly speaking that it doesn't sound like his voice and the audio is out of sync.

polling booth. The only "wars" that should be happening should be those against the multi-nationals, corporatists, plundering bankers, the Federal Reserve, WTO, the World Bank, et. al. The idiots who are spending our money (borrowed from the Chinese with interest to the private Fed) on bailing out shareholders of private businesses should be tried and hung. It's time fools were let out and "of,by and for the people" resounds.

Oh wait, you're saying that we're making it dangerous. And Obama will make nice. Yes, yes. I sure do want someone with Obama's experience leading us through Putin-perturbed waters. I imagine an Obama victory will bring a broad smile to Putin's face.

It's no time for idealism, folks. Cold hard realities face the free republics of the world.
