Ron Paul Supporters Won’t Vote for McCain
John McCain's fundraising woes aren't likely to be solved with the help of Ron Paul supporters, who donated so much money to Paul's campaign. McCain's attempts to neutralize Paul by backing an insurgent primary opponent against him failed, and Paul doesn't seem inclined to lead his faithful into the McCain corral, according to the Moonie Times.
Howie Klein:
One of the least credible of the bloodsucking lobbyists who runs McCain's campaign, Charles Black, is whining that Paul's supporters are getting the could shoulder because Paul hasn't prostrated himself and kissed the ring, promised to be a good boy and stop telling everyone that the idea of endless war in Iraq is a bad idea. That's not likely to happen. Unlike McCain and other Insider political hacks, Paul actually believes in the stuff he talks about.

Over 800,000 Republicans voted for Paul so far-- more than for Giuliani or Fred Thompson-- and his campaign raised over $32 million. Many Paul supporters say they are more likely to sit out the November election or vote for Obama than vote for McCain.Paul is just ideologically driven and cranky enough to be a real Naderite fly in the Republican ointment come November. In honor of the enduring public service Paul seems to be lending to the country on this, the fifth anniversary of the McCain/Lieberman "noble" war in Iraq, let's resurrect the YouTube of the blimp.
Meanwhile the Bullshit Express, it appears, has a few gaps in his national security knowledge.
