Al Franken was a very well received guest on the David Letterman Show last night, where he showed what a lovable, big hearted guy he is but also that he a confident, serious politician as well. He talks about his ever increasing chances of being the Democratic nominee for Senate in Minnesota, why he thinks he'll beat Norm Coleman and why he believes progressive values appear to be trumping right wing spin in this election. He also gives a moving tribute to his fourth grade teacher who he's featuring in campaign ads (one of which an enthusiastic Letterman allows him to show uncut!) and uses it to discuss the flaws of No Child Left Behind. Check out the video to your right for more.
