Thanks to the casting sensibility of Arianna Huffington, we learned that John McCain has been channeling Dr. Strangelove! Duly inspired, Phillip and our Issues 2008 team jumped into action, and 24 hours later, here's the video!

Pass it far and wide and pitch us your casting ideas for John McCain in the comments.

Mccain has already made it clear he is eager for nuking Iran. But since he is the most adept, congenital hypocrite in Congress one can not be certain. He is a person of limited intellect, and frivolous when he should be serious and thoughtful.

... I think McCain looks a lot like Lon Chaney in the unmasking scene in the original "Phantom of the Opera" silent film ....

.... Which is what I wish he could be – silent – because every time he opens his mouth, "war, war, war" comes out and I want to retch. Eight years of nausea is enough; I can't take any more.

(He also looks like a troll applying for Medicare.)

I have a couple of suggestions for the person who could play McCain in the movie: Tom Hanks first since he is such an excellent actor. The other, if we make it a spoof, would be George Clooney if you can make him ugly enough, since he is also an excellent actor.

When are the non-corporate reporters going to start asking the questions the corporate reporters are never going to ask - why did MCCain fight so hard to keep the Vietnam POW records sealed?
