Stewart, just like most Americans, is dumbfounded by Matthew's use of "Lawrence of Arabia" to contrast the campaigns of Hillary and Obama.

Last fall Chris Matthews appeared on the "Daily Show" to promote his book Life's A Campaign. During a painful interview, Stewart called the book "a recipe for sadness" and wildly disagreed with its contents for several minutes. Matthews in turn exclaimed, "This is the book interview from hell! This is the worst interview I've ever had in my life!" Last night on "The Daily Show" a writer-less Stewart played a clip of MSNBC's Matthews making Lawrence of Arabia metaphors to describe Hillary Clinton the night of the New Hampshire primary. He then mocked it with a metaphor of his own. Check out the video to your right for more.
