Yesterday, President-elect Barack Obama recorded the "Democratic Radio Address" using video as well as audio. The New York Times notes, "It may seem like a political no-brainer in the age of YouTube, but as aides to Mr. Obama pointed out, it is a first for a president or president-elect." In the message, Obama urges Congress to "pass at least a down-payment on a rescue plan that will create jobs, relieve the squeeze on families, and help get the economy growing again." Watch it:

I hope you didn't poisen yourself by actually listening to the man! I mean, the things he said are so freaking scary. I just don't know how we're going to handle some new jobs around here. I thought we were all on the same page here. You know, nobody works, everybody dies, right? Isn't that what you repugs want? How dare he say we all have to help! Such vile, hitler-like speaches, my lord!

You know, you should follow your third-reich leader and use "the google" to find out where they're still serving up lobotomies for the hopelessly insane. There's hope for you yet. Don't give up!

There, did you get your full serving of being the good little white bread victim this morning? If not, go listen to some more hate-speech radio.

WE'RE PARTYING AND YOU'RE A REAL BUZZ KILL.

Thank you for this public service. I've waited 8 long years to bitch-slap punks like you. Ready and willing to serve. You betcha! See? Sarah Palin's not the only bitch in town.

Are bigger than any President, and weren't solely created by Cheney/Bush, although they did their best to exacerbate very quickly the processes that have been building since Ronald Reagan was elected in 1980. Obama is faced by some very large challenges, that have been left for him by 28 years of (mostly) neo-conservative philosophy; and the Elephant in the room, Peak Oil, which may derail any attempts to rectify the deep structural problems in our economy, and the global economy.

Having said that, I am allowing myself the luxury of a little hope for the moment. And, to the previous poster who called Obama a Muslim Atheist...get a life and blow up your TV. He's no more a Muslim than I am an Atomic Physicist.
