Ellen Slams Palin on Gay Marriage

Last month, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) told CBS that she wouldn't "judge people" based on their sexual preferences. However, just a few weeks later, she admitted that she nevertheless doesn't believe in marriage equality and voiced support for the Federal Marriage Amendment. Today, Ellen DeGeneres responded to Palin's comments:

I don't know if you saw this, but vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin said she's in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically, she wants to change the constitution. So if you're wondering -- I'm sure you are -- how I feel about this, I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't agree. ... And I don't know what people are scared of. Maybe they think that their children will be influenced, and I got to say -- I was raised by two heterosexuals and they did not influence me.

Watch it:

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has come out against a federal ban on gay marriage. However, Palin yesterday reassured James Dobson that McCain has privately said that he will support far-right positions if he is elected president.

And what other secret "agreements" has John McCain made, and not just with Dobson and his ilk? This is more than Palin trying to straddle an issue and reassure the religious right.

You may be able to tell from the heading I've placed here that I can not tolerate another day of the b/s that comes from John Dobson, Focus on the Family, The Dobsonites, The Christian Coaltion, The Baptist Commission, The Latter Day Saints, The American Family Association et. at. who want to tell everyone in America how they should live their lives! What in the hell is wrong with America that some Americans send these people money to support their IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY! Do American Citizen's want these people running your lives like an AMERICAN TALIBAN!!! Are you kidding me??? I hope they all burn in the hell they say we are all going to soon be in if we don't see it their way!! Does anyone every watch these fools on TV with the crying wives asking for money for God, living in mansions, driving Mercedes' in their fine clothes, dining at the White House and getting millions of tax dollars to teach devine intervention and abstinence to your children! Give me a break - again! Vote NO in California and SAY NO MORE to these fools! NO AMERICAN TALIBAN!!!

Apparrently you DO have to be gay to believe in equality.
