Politico reports today that the Republican National Committee spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup for Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) in September -- in addition to the more than $150,000 the RNC has spent on clothing and accessories for Palin. AMERICAblog points out the amount is just half of what the RNC spends on makeup for Sen. John McCain: The RNC shelled out $8,672.55 for McCain's makeup in September, employing celebrity makeup artist Tifanie White.

McCain, makeup money well spent. They should spend some on his clothes.

Why didn't they bother to whiten his teeth while they were at it? His yellow teeth are downright creepy, especially from below. At least Biden had the sense to have his teeth done.

Palin's shopping spree? She spent some time with Cindy, wonder no more, she was just keeping up with her new friends.

I'm glad the campaign is giving her and her family the charity of tons of wonderful clothes. I think they have earned it.

I hope they enjoy them fully.

Republicans have always exploited the working class (white) people usng various wedge issues, but Palin has gone even further:

she is down-right mocking the people she is inciting during her rallies.

how pathetic for the people who still support McCain-Palin.
