A local California GOP women's organization's most recent newsletter claims that if Obama is elected, his face will appear on food stamps, rather than dollar bills like other presidents. The group then included a picture of "Obama Bucks" -- a phony $10 bill with Obama surrounded by racist imagery:

racist16_400.jpg

The president of the organization, Diane Fedele, didn’t understand the charges of racism: "I didn’t see it the way that it’s being taken. I never connected. It was just food to me." One African-American member of the club said that upon seeing the newsletter, she "cried for 45 minutes." "This is what keeps African-Americans from joining the Republican Party," she added. This, my dear, is what the Grand Old Party of Abe Lincoln really thinks about black people. Just imagine if you were a fly on the wall, what your fellow white republicans say behind your back. If you can't bring yourself to be a Democrat, become an Independent.

I read about this just this morning in my local piece of shit newspaper, The Press Enterprise out here in The Inland Empire. I do live near where this bitch operates. I also just saw the local news where the reporter went to this sorry excuse for a human lives and the reporter asked both her husband and her daughter if they thought it was racist. Heres the link to the site, http://cbs2.com/kcal/ you'll find the video to the right just scroll and look for it. Sorry i don't know how to link directly to it. Amazing how stupid people are.

When you're so far down in the polls that it looks like up to you, you're out of gas.McCain is really disgracing himself and appealing to the lunatic fringe.Maybe another witch cast out is in order.Palin is the only terrorist I see and she terrorizes me totally.America needs an IQ test for potential politicians.Enough of these candidates with iq's smaller than their shoe size.

Why is anyone a Republican? This group has been waging war on the U.S. just about as long as Muslim fundamentalists. They should be classified as a terrorist group. McCain and Palin have just about got them fully qualified.

Legal action?

The president of the organization, Diane Fedele, didn’t understand the charges of racism: "I didn’t see it the way that it’s being taken. I never connected. It was just food to me."

That is such a blatant lie! Or maybe "baldfaced" is a better adjective.

Other than the lie, what struck me about the article was the photo of the "money." Could there be trademark infringement there? I have to believe that KFC wouldn't grant permission for the use of it's product to something as overtly racist as that bill. Same goes for Kool-Aid. Any legal types out there with clarification?

I am a white person and this post really cuts me to the quick. To think that someone could be so very racial in this day and age just blows my mind. People of America, because this Obama food stamp 10 dollar bill appears to be endorsed by Kool Aid and Kentucky Fried Chicken (because they could not be printed on the bill without permission) I will never ever again buy Kentucky Fried Chicken nor will I buy Kool Aid. I am personally banning both products. If you are of the same mind you should remove these products from your diets too. This is a BIG racial slur that our country certainly can live without

I am contacting you to find out what this corporation intends to do about your logo appearing on the racist Obama Bucks? Is the company going to take action or a position on the use of your logo? Do you intend to remain silent? I intend to stop buying your products including Taco Bell unless or until you take appropriate action. And I intend to post this e-mail online, as well as send it to every organization I belong to asking them to do the same. As an African-American I refuse to give my hard earned dollars to racist or their compatriots. As an American I refuse to sit in silence while this kind of behavior continues.

McCain campaign phone calls [transcript]
Posted by: DaBear on Oct 17, 2008 8:29 AM
Current rating: 5    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
Here's a phone call from the McCain campaign, verbatim:

"(Male voice:) Hello. I’m calling for John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the pentagon, a judge’s home, and killed Americans, and Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the judgment to lead our country. This call is paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202-863-8500."

Gee, fascism anyone? How is this shit legal in the USA? In 2008? Now tell me the Republikaans don't need a beatdown, a bloody one.

there are three alternatives here.

a. Either the leader of the club is fooling us with the comment that she does not understand

b. she is fooling herself by closing off her ability to understand

c. Or she really DOES NOT understand

In any of these possibilities...... she is a danger to our struggle for upgrading human nature and achieving a better world.

Kool-aid is a product of Kraft foods.
Their corporate website is www.kraftfood.com.
I think we should bombard both Kraft and KFC with comments about this ugly UNAUTHORIZED use of their products' imagery.

Thank you for commenting on the image emailed by a political organization in California. Our Legal department immediately contacted the organization responsible for distributing this offensive and degrading portrayal of one of the presidential candidates, and demanded that they immediately cease and desist from further use or distribution of materials containing KFC images. We have also requested a public statement from the group acknowledging that KFC had no part in the creation or distribution of this material.

The actions by this group are a disparagement of KFC and the company reserves all its rights to protect its trademarks and brand image against uses such as this.

I think fried chicken, watermelon, koolaid is one hell of a meal. Being from the south we call this soul food. Oh don't forget the turnipgreens and sweet potatoes, catfish and porkchops. The black Americans introduced us to this and I love it..

This is for the black lady. Please I don't think this should be seen as a slur. You food styles are what I love. I lived by these foods and have loved them all my life. Black people know how to cook and really enjoy life. I admire the way you worship the Lord and have all those wonderful family get togethers and reunions. I am from Mississippi and am white I believe all race will one day go to hell or heaven. Better get ready cause if you don't like that red, yellow, black or white skin next to you, well either way u will go one way or another and they will too.

As a white American of 6 different ethnic backgrounds, this whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. I truly hope that the African-American community realizes that a vast majority of whites DO NOT think this is funny, humorous or amusing. We find it despicable and would like to see this woman fired from whatever post she holds and be forced to undergo sensitivity training (not that it will help this idiot) and apoligize publicly.
She is a disgrace to the human race of ALL colors.

The advertising used by the GOP these past few days has me wondering if they aren't all racist. How awful can they get? Sometimes I fear for Obama's life the way they are stirring up hatred and distrust. I can't believe anyone would vote Republican after these lower than a snakes belly tactics.

Let me tell U a story, My father's dad died at the age of 3. My grandmother a had black man help her with her place after her husbands death. This man taught my dad how to swim as well as how to drive. The black man was Arthur Johnson. My dad loved him like a dad and at the death of Arthur my dad cried and loved this man. He went to see him all the time when he was sick. So, being from Ms. I AM NOT DUMB. And it isn't OM-G. I think being form Ms. we have changed alot more than you think. We are all for Obama. I am not insensitive to the racist shit. I hate that the slavery happened. We Still fly our Rebel flag at Ole Miss and the Black man has moved on from all the hate that USE to be there. That flag stands for Heritage NOT Hate now. So maybe come on down to Miss. and try our Delta catfish and check our blues out. You might see our great B.B. King hanging out and playing.
