John McCain does not have the ability to fix this economic crisis.  After declaring the fundamentals of the economy strong, he created a political circus in Washington last week by mucking up bailout negotiations; a deplorable stunt, considering he and his political cronies helped cause the current meltdown.

It was McCain and his economic adviser Phil Gramm who pushed for the deregulation that helped lead to the banking crisis, and it was McCain's crony Rick Davis who had deep lobbyist ties to Freddie Mac.  Don't let others be fooled by McCain's economic grandstanding because the reality is his policies and principles will only exacerbate our financial hardships.  That's why you must spread this video.

McCain is being deceitful with his sudden populist message and support for regulation; his economic policies still favor our nation's wealthy elite.  Call out McCain's economic dishonesty.  Send this video to friends and ask them to sign up for a free Brave New Films video subscription to know the latest on TheRealMcCain.com.  Then, post it on your blogs and spread it on networking sites like Digg and Reddit.  These are some of the best ways to reach people who are not following this debate closely.

Let's make sure everyone knows McCain can't get us out of the mess he got us into in the first place.

Make sure you don't miss Greenwald's other excellent video report below: "Why Is the Corporate Press Censoring Attempts to Discuss McCain's Health Records?" It stars the ever-lovely billo screeching about doctors discussing mccain's cancer problems, which is probably the best reason not to vote for him, since his death or incapacity in office would usher in, wait for it...'President palin' (I'm palin' just thinking about it!)

The best part of billo's attempt to slander the video is that he 'cleverly' shows the entire thing to his huge audience, whereas they likely wouldn't have seen it otherwise - certainly not on 'fox'. We all know that mccain supporters on average aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, but surely even they can't relish the thought of POTUS palin. And now, courtesy of 'billo the bold' mccain's potential to make that happen is right in their face.

Perfect.

Billo, if you weren't such a mess and I were gay I'd plant a big one on 'ya. And like most homophobes, I'm sure you'd just love it.

and still is, my contention that we should drop the "McCain would be four more years of Bush" refrain. Given Senator McCain's history and stated policies, especially coming after eight years of the Bush administration, It would be much worse!

The most fundamental change to banking regulation was the repeal of the Glass Steagal Act of 1933 by the Gramm Bliley Act of 1999. This legislative maneuver made the private bank deposits, mortgages and their assets available to investment banking casinos for trade and frolic. McCain supported this deregulation which has produced the same disastrous results that Ronald Reagan's deregulation of the Savings and Loans achieved in the 1980's. Remember the "Bonanza" speech that Reagan made? He had no idea what he was doing and neither does this administration or John McCain.

We need to have legislative solutions that return personal finances to real people rather than leaving them with commission driven Wall Street meth freaks.
