This is a follow-up from an earlier post, and a reminder that we all need to run up our phone bills today for the good of the nation. The Democratic "debates" which Kucinich has been uninvited from are tomorrow. Davis Fleetwood even put this video together to show you how it's done. What more do you want? Pick up your phone and make a few calls. As with all savage animals, they're more afraid of you than you are of them.

Davis Fleetwood has shown you how to be an agressive patriot blogger. Are you going to sit on your fat-ass brains and not send email or phone?

I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more!

Join me and email everyone! Get mad! The main stream press, GE, NBC, the DNC. Let's flail away...we are being treated like ciphers! Be heard! Get into it now!

...But you have to wonder if it's just spinning our wheels. Up to this point, no protest has gotten Dennis re-included into ANY debate he has been excluded from. I disagree that they are more afraid of us than we are of them. Like the robber barons of the late 19th Century, these corporate giants have the government goon squads on their side ("don't tase me, bro!", fenced off "free speech zones", etc.). They may not be so crude as to be bashing heads in like the old Pinkerton strike breakers, but the oppression and intimidation is there.

I've complained, written e-mails, told people I meet, etc. Often, too often, I still get "Who's Dennis?", as a response. I've probably given more money to his campaign than 90% of the people who might read this, but I'm getting more than a little frustrated that we are not reaching even 10% of those who should hear the message. I don't know the answer, and it looks like the corporate stonewalling campaign against Dennis, and Edwards next, will probably work. The script has been written, the charade will go on, and the sheeple will do as they are told (or the black boxes will do it for them), and the anointed will continue to rule - until we rise up and overthrow them!

MSNBC part of lobby-obedient “journalism”

For whatever it's worth, I’ve sent my e-mails, made my calls. Boycotting Disney and everything GE would work if there were enough time to affect the corporate bottom line. And also. If the amount of money weren’t over $2 billion in military contracts to GE you might get less resistance from them . No one gives that kind of money up without a fight.

Kucinich, or any politician, being right about things is not always enough; right is not might in these times; not when you have AIPAC (and the Zionist Israeli government it serves) to anoint their candidates to be the ONLY candidates the American people are allowed to "choose" from. There is no longer a real debate, a open and honest dialogue going on in America.

ANOTHER Kucinich supporter CONVINCES me...

I like Kucinich. I like what he has to say. I think he's by far the best-informed and most realistically close to what REALLY bothers the majority of America's under-represented people.

But Jesus H. CHRIST!! Do you HAVE to be represented by such RUDE-ASS people, Dennis?? Callin' Howard Dean and being a jackass on the answering machine at the HQ?? Tell your video-blogger boy to back off the DNC and go after the righties-in-disguise at the DLC.

I WILL be telling all these contacts listed that they need to include Kuchinich, but NOT by getting all snotty (OK, assy, this guy was just assy) and being all creepy about it.

Kucinich guy, you've convinced me. Dennis has a LOT of support from the Future Grumpy Old Men of America.

Try THIS for a message they'll listen to.

NBC: You had included Kucinich in the televised debates by the criteria set up. Live up to your statements, quit equivocating based on the wishes of any group or coalition of groups. Behave in an ethical manner. In case you hadn't noticed, there are a HUGE majority of the Public (not the special interests, not the 'insiders' but YOUR CUSTOMERS at NBC, GE and so on) that WANT you to behave responsibly and honestly.

Start by honoring the invitation. then look for other ways to profit from honesty.

To Howard Dean:

As a supporter of the rights of the public to hear ALL sides of the issue, I urge you to encourage STRONGLY the re-inclusion of Dennis Kucinich in the televised debates. Thank you for your attention to helping the TRUE meaning of both democracy AND the Democratic Party.

-----------

See the difference?

It's about acting like a responsible, intelligent adult, not a temperamental, fit-throwing jack-ass in front of the lower echelon staffer who has to listen to this crap, take notes (that'll say Wants Kuchinich in debates, sounded like a real turd, made veiled threats of some sort--I quit listening once he got so in love with his own voice I was about to puke) and then give a short precis to somebody who REALLY doesn't care if you took up 3 minutes of answering machine time making bluffing bully noises.

Keep Up the Pressure - Weak responses from DNC & NV Dems

The person answering Jim's phone at the DNC said they have been in touch with MSNBC but have gotten no response; the woman at the Nevada Dems number told me they're a last-minute sponsor and have no control over the debate, then politely hung up on me.
Make them feel the outrage.
I've already deleted NBC from my television, which, as I told them, will probably distress me more than it does them, but I feel good standing in opposition to GE and all its war-profiteering, immoral, and unprincipled ways.

Shameful behavior of the leading candidates!

If Edwards, Obama and Clinton want to win the respect of voters, they should simply say that they'll boycott any debate that doesn't include all four leading candidates - including Kucinich.

Kucinich has little chance of winning - but he keeps the issues on the front burner, and tends to be the only one willing to actively confront the spin of the corporate media "moderators" in the debates.

The corporate press is one of the greatest threats to real democracy that exists today - that's a fact, and people need to become aware of it.

You discount McCain at your peril
Posted by: truthteller on Jan 14, 2008 9:29 AM
Current rating: 3    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
I don't think any ONE candidate has been specifically chosen. I think a RANGE of acceptable candidates are being supported by the corporate establishment. Specifically, Clinton, Obama, McCain, Romney and Guiliani are ALL acceptable to the "powers-that-be". Look at who is supporting them and how much money each has gotten from which special interests, and you'll see I stand a very good chance of being right about that. "Deep Throat" said it best over 35 years ago - "Follow the money". I think McCain could very well win over Clinton, but Hillary and Obama are both bought and paid for by the same people. They differ around the margins on social issues, but in what really matters to the money guys, they are all pretty much the same.

That is what we have to change. This is basically the last chance I'm giving to the "process" to bring about honest change. However, I'm not going to do what is expected of a good sheeple - just go away and leave the big guys to run things. They are not going to like the response of us who know what is happening and really, really don't like it!

I made several calls and e-mails. Kucinich must debate.

This is not a democracy.

I will have no party affiliation. The Democrats are the Illuminati's tool, just as the Republicans.

Our US treasury has been robbed of scores of trillions of dollars. What can be done? Our government officials are committing treason and no one is being held accountable. Our military is controlled by civilians that are bent on genocide. The United States has destroyed Iraq, a non threatening nation. 9/11 has not been truly investigated. The MSM keeps us tied up in lies and secrecy.

It is time for action.

My letter, fyi
Posted by: SbgBJ on Jan 14, 2008 11:56 AM

To NBC/MSNBC:

Have you ever seen the following quotes?

"An informed citizenry is the only true repository of the public will."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"All just power is derived from the consent of the governed."
-- John Locke, Enlightenment philosopher

"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... [sic] censorship. When any government{or news source}... undertakes to say , 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives."
-- edited quote from Robert Heinlein's short story "If this goes on" (retitled "Revolt in 2100")

"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow."
– Abraham Lincoln

In other words:
Any network that presumes to decide who the American People may or may not hear in a nationally televised presidential debate is deliberately and knowingly dismantling our democracy and deserves to have its license revoked! And any so-called journalist who goes along with this autocratic, treasonous charade doesn't deserve his/her title.

My father was a REAL journalist -- he personified the concept of "What the people know and when they know it is the engine of democracy." Dad spoke truth to power and won national and international awards for it, but that was in the Watergate era, when investigative reporting was respected for casting light into the dark corners of our society.

FYI, in the 1920s, when radio first debuted in the United States, there was immediate apprehension about its potential impact on democracy. One early American student of the medium wrote that if control of radio were concentrated in the hands of a few, "no nation can be free."

As a result of these fears, safeguards were enacted in the U.S. -- including the Public Interest Standard, the Equal Time Provision, and the Fairness Doctrine – today your network (and others) would be much better if you'd implement these once sacred concepts, for unlike your current, oppressive policies, these lofty principles also safeguarded our democracy -- until the advent of FOX News, Clear Channel and their ilk.

Nowadays Dad's grave-spinning approaches warp speed, for the news business is no longer about public service or keeping a spotlight on those with money and power so they perhaps think twice about indulging in corruption. No, nowadays, "journalists" blithely pander to the corporate owners of their network/newspaper, even though this unamerican, spineless treason compromises our democracy to its very core.

The latest examples of such ass-covering coup d'états are ABC & NBC's decisions to bar presidential candidates WHO ARE STILL IN THE RACE from taking part in their network's nationally televised debates.

True, some candidates have already gained in popularity in the mere two weeks the primaries have been running. How did they do that? Through the people's exposure to them!

So, like ABC before it, now NBC is trying to control the American people's choices of their governmental leaders, by controlling what candidates they are exposed to. Despicable.

Can NBC or any of our so-called news channels locate their last vestiges of decency and professionalism, take back the helm from the money-grubbing special interests and let the PEOPLE decide who they should vote for, based on, gee, I dunno, like ... the candidates' ideas about the ISSUES that concern us all?!

Rejoin and assist our democracy or get off the air!
Sincerely,
An As Yet Undecided ExPat Who Votes

If John Edwards or Barack Obama or even Hillary Clinton were truly of Presidential timber, character or integrity they would raise serious objects to Congressman Kucinich being excluded from this debate..

It is a proof that they are not of the quality and lack such enlightenment as we should not only hope for but demand of our nations chief executive..

I will vote for Kucinich here in Upstate New York in the primary and now am resolved to do so more than ever..

NBC and Tim Russert can go fuck themselves to death and Chris Matthews too..for all I care and this exclusion of Congressman Kucinich from the "democratic" debate which is anything but if a fraud as is this entire election proving to be..

NBC Dictatorial like selection of our American President or Democratic nominee as well as the resent decision by some scum bag Texas Judge to not allow Kucinich on the ballot in that important state due to his failure to sign a document swearing no matter who the Democratic candidate is to support them no matter how potentially immoral their positions are smacks of Sovietism rather than American values and what is required of us all that are men of conscious and lovers of Freedom..

Also Single Payer Health Care is Change itself as Kucinich wisely endorses everything else is bullshit..

An Impeachment is a moral necessity for our nation..

Vote Kucinich, vote for FREEDOM..!

Honestly, I don't understand why more people aren't up in arms about this. No matter how you feel about Dennis, surely people understand that this is a corporation trying to influence a presidential election?

They need to get the debates out of corporate hands. This is all ridiculous.

I'll keep calling and mailing.

What Purpose Will They Have Without War and Making Money?

The fear is that they will have no purpose.

What will the US military, the corporations and the media do without creating war, creating money, and reporting sensationalism?

Here's a thought:

1. The military can help out during natural disasters worldwide
2. corporations can help stablize a prosperous income and great working conditions for all worldwide, and
3. the media can report fair, unbiased, factual all around news that benefits our survival.

Just a thought.
Deborah

It's been report at Huffington post that a Nevada Judge has determined Kucinich must be allowed to debate otherwise the Judge will disallow the entire debate if he is not permitted to participate..

NBC had to comply..

Now we can watch to see what kind of bullshit questions if any Tim Russert that fat ass asks Congressman Kucinich..

it is a big conspiracy by the corporate media and others to sideline those who are the ones who actually tell it like it is...
