This is so mindboggling it defies commentary. Up until the 1st of July of 2008, Nelson Mandela was considered a terrorist by the United States.

Bush Removes Nelson Mandela from Terror Watch List

By VOA News

01 July 2008

U.S. President George Bush Tuesday signed a bill that allows Nelson Mandela to enter the United States without special clearance.

The measure officially removes Mr. Mandela and his African National Congress from a U.S. terror watch list.

The former South African president may now visit the United States without the U.S. secretary of state having to certify that he is not a terrorist.

Mr. Mandela was placed on the list because of his work with the African National Congress (ANC), which fought to end white minority rule in South Africa.

Mr. Mandela spent 27 years in prison for his work with the ANC to fight apartheid rule in South Africa.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner turns 90 on July 18.

Why does this article say, "Bush took Mandela off the terrorist list"?

What it should say, is "Congress passed a bill directing State Dept. to take Mandela off the terrorist list. It was signed into law on July 1".

THIS is how the propaganda is done. In the bowels of the news services, people are writing "pickup" stories, "5 column inches to fill the hole on page 5"...and they're written with this pro-bush tilt.

THAT IS THE ENEMY.

Here we have another case of...

Bush and company getting or taking credit for something congress did. This is identical to Bush and McCain taking credit for the passing of the new GI bill the other day, passed by congress, while not actually voting on it and threatening to veto it.

It also begs the question "Are all people who fight back against repressive and opressive government terrorists? Or are they just like the founding fathers of the US fighting for freedom and justice?"

Why was Mandella designated a terrorist in the first place? I don't think he was doing much different than say Thomas Jefferson or George Washigton. WTFIUWT?

When The Botha Terrorists Ruled South Africa

Nuclear weapons left the United States and were put in the hands of the Botha Terrorists via guess who?..ISRAEL...to be used against... guess who?

"Terrorist" Nelson Mandela, the ANC and the rest of Black Africa.

"These sick fearful people see themselves as a tiny island surrounded by a sea of depraved, disease ridden Black men." Dr. MLK Jr.

Were it up to GWB I'm sure that only death would remove the honorable Nelson Mandela from America's terror list. Pathetic.
