Sarah Palin Continues to Champion Personal Responsibility by Blaming Other People for Her Failures

Last Friday at the Alaska GOP's Lincoln Day Dinner, The 'Cuda explained why McPalin and the GOP got their asses handed to them last November.

There was an unprecedented level of media slant this go around.

Forget Bush, Cheney, Iraq, Afghanistan, the economy, gas prices, Katrina, declining middle class wages, the failure of the banking system, health care, McPalin's assclownish campaign, Palin's obvious flaws and non-stop gaffes, etc. etc.

Nope, it was all the media's fault:

Some in the media actually participated in not so much the 'who-what-where-when-why' objective reporting on candidates and positions, those five W's that I learned when I had a journalism degree so many years ago in college, when the world of journalism was quite different than it is today," she said.

"No, things have changed," she continued. "But complaining? Or whining? Absolutely not. But I am going to call it like I see it. It doesn't do any good to whine about any of this. But I can call it like I see it. Sometimes it gets me in a lot of trouble when I speak candidly, and I speak from the heart and I do such a thing. But I am going to."

"And there was that media slant this go round," she said. "And unless things change, the GOP had really better can stand together, 'cause we got that on the battlefield also. I call it like I see it and like I lived it on the campaign trail. Not complaining, but dealing with reality."

Not whining, not complaining, just callin' like I see it, and gosh darn it, WE WOULD'VE WON IF IT WEREN'T FOR THAT BITCH COURIC!!!

That, and...

"So I'm looking around for somebody to pray with, I just need maybe a little help, maybe a little extra," she said. "And the McCain campaign, love 'em, you know, they're a lot of people around me, but nobody I could find that I wanted to hold hands with and pray."

That's right -- if the McCain campaign hadn't been a bunch of secular godless heathens, Sarah Palin would be living at the Naval Observatory right now.

Digg!

New definition of complain'n

So if one complains but then immediately declares that they are not complaing, one did in fact not complain?
As a nation, we got a freebie there, what with her not being able to pray her way into the office of VP there, also, having the press present a fairly accurate account of who she really is, as opposed to that there made up image we were supposed to look at.

the media didn't treat me right and also the media reporting was skewed like that and also there's that whole self-responsibility thing I championed, and gosh-darn it, the hand-holding prayer option wasn't available to me like I wanted, but this whole media skewage we witnessed that I'm a complainer like that just isn't the fair shake I think the American people deserve.

Enough, already, ya nutbar. You've had your 15 minutes of fame - your moment has passed.

to gain some self-respect back, to not have any more ethics investigations, that my husband won't humiliate me too much, that the people of Alaska won't recall me, that my kids won't make any more public appearances that make me look bad, that they won't ask me to pardon another turkey next year, that the unemployed Alaskans won't storm the capitol trying to come after me, that the public doesn't find out about any of the other money the RNC paid me, that I am capable of learning about current events, foreign affairs, etc., ...

(the list is too long to continue)

The longer she doesn't understand the reason for her failure, the longer she'll be fixin' the wrong problems. Good thing too, because if she had the capacity for self-reflection (which she doesn't), she could actually be dangerous. She would be a great card to play in the culture wars. In fact she WAS..they just played the card too early...and now she has the loser taint which will hopefully poison her for future campaigns. The thing that worries me is since she's so stupid, millions of stupid Americans can relate to her. You betcha!

Can we please start a rumor that palin is an military-created alien-human hybrid who was created in area 51 for the purposes of giving neocons a hard on...a la 'stepford wives'?

Example of what Schools of Journalism have been teaching for 3 decades

That explains it all. There is no such thing as objective or investigative reporting- apparently two things dropped from the curriculum.Reason the investigation into Iran contra stopped at North and did not proceed towards who Undermined a sitting Pres to make a backroom deal with the Iranians to get the hostages released AFTER Reagan 'won'. No intellecual discuss of what 'Trickle Down' implied. How Keating was able to so easily drive his S&L into the ground. What aid & comfort was being supplied to those 'Afghani Freedom Fighters' or Saddam. No real investigation into the First Blood for Oil invasion into Iraq. Indepth expose into how NAFTA would effect our economy. Not a mention of the ramifications of 'The Modernization Act', not even Who was married between Enrons upper echelon and Congress. Not a surprise that W's admin got away with as many high Crimes as they did when Schools of Journalism were kicking out mental heavy weights like Sarah for the last 3 decades- Brilliant! don't tell me she can't figure out the benefit of Volcano research either.

Oh, geez, poor little thing. The nasty old media and those horrible Democrats made life hard for her. Give me a break! How many more times are we going to hear this? Does she ever stop feeling sorry for herself? We all have eyes and ears. We all saw and heard for ourselves when she fired the opening salvo of lies and half-truths toward Obama. We all saw the reactions by the wing-nuts and the horney school boys in her audiences when she spewed her filth.

She wants to pray? I have been praying ever since she came on the scene, praying that the Almighty will cause her to spontaneously combust and give us all some real peace.

Funny how the "right" (and I use that word in the vernacular sense, not the literal sense) always want to pray their way out of everything....and they never seem to receive an answer. Reminds me of an old joke: A guy goes to his pastor and says, "Father, I am broke and have no money. I think I can win a million dollars if only God will help me choose the right Lottery numbers." Father says, "Go home and pray for that, my son." He does and a week later the guy returns and says, "Father, I did as you said and prayed to God for the winning Lottery numbers and I LOST! What happened? Why didn't God answer my prayers?" The pastor says, "Well, he did my son. HE SAID NO!" ..... Amen to Ms. Palin.

Let's Pray Palin Sticks Around

James A. Swanson, Los Altos, CA
“The Bush League of Nations”

Let’s pray that Palin and a few other nitwits in the GOP leadership stick around and continue to spout the same old GOP nostrums that drove America off the cliff.

This will cause more and more Americans to realize the obvious—that America’s government, like its military and its financial system, cannot be entrusted to GOP crooks, incompetents and mercenaries.

From Reagan’s presidency through that of Bush II, the GOP used government power to create the Second Gilded Age in America, at the expense of common men and women.

Yes, give trillions of dollars to the Super Rich and Big Business. Run up multiple enormous unsustainable deficits and debts.

Bankrupt America both morally and financially. Plant the seeds for the GOP Great Depression II.

Deregulate, deregulate, deregulate.

Screw generations of the unborn by making them pay for everything. Take the money and run.

You can find this and much more in "The Bush League of Nations: The Coalition of the Unwilling, the Bullied and the Bribed – the GOP’s War on Iraq and America," by James A. Swanson (2008, published by CreateSpace Publishing, 448 pages).

You can now download the entire $25.95 book for FREE at www.bushleagueofnations.com.

I ask for nothing in return, except that you consider using it as a resource to help restore and build America.

Just Shutup And Look Pretty

I just watched the Palin video. One word; "Corny"!!

Where do these Republican politicians get all those cheesy smiles? Beside Palin, they have Gov. Bobby Jindal, who has a smile that makes nerds look good; then there is Ann (creep me out) Coulter, who can shrink any guys "stimulus package" - is she a "he" under all that makeup? Weird vibes!!! And, of course, the man who is the stand-in for "Uncle Fester", John McCain. What makes McCain's smile special is his barely audible grunting when he speaks; "hee, hee, hee"!

But, what makes Palin so special is here ability to pop up like the character in the game, "Wack-A-Mole". She, along with Ollie North, Newt Gingrich, Laura Ingraham, Bobby Jindal, and Haley Barbour, are going to be "Invited Speakers", at the NRA's "Celebration of American Values Leadership Forum", in Phoenix, this May. Talk about a rouges' gallery of pettifoggers.

Speaking to a gathering of NRA members is going to be a sublime wet dream to Palin. But, I don't think Palin is going to get a standing ovation from that audience. The "pistol in their pocket" is going to be too big!!

I shouldn't be so tough on Sarah Palin. After all, she does know where Phoenix is; it's a suburb of Mexico!

How would Palin describe the current economic disastaer that has befallen us? Does she have any idea what's going on? I wonder what her plan would be? ANNA
