Palin Thinks There Is a 'Department of Law' at the White House. (There Isn't.)

Oh, and she also left the door open to running for national political office in the future.

In a new interview with ABC News, Sarah Palin left the door open to running for national political office in the future. She said that the “frivolous ethics violations” that plagued her during her time in Alaska wouldn’t be as much as a problem if she were in the White House because of the all-powerful “Department of Law” that the President has at his disposal:

I think on a national level, your department of law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we’ve been charged with and automatically throw them out.

For the record, no such agency exists at the national level. The state of Alaska does have a Department of Law, but it apparently wasn’t able to keep Palin safe from “some of the things [she's] been charged with.”

Digg!

I really wish she'd stop referring to herself in the first-person plural...

How many more moronic remarks can this pinhead make before even Krauthammer and Kristol admit that she's totally unfit for ANY public office?

Translated: If elected co-Presidents, Todd and I intend to continue to violate the law and Constitution of the United States just like we did in Alaska, but being presidential and all, we'll simply fire anyone in the Justice/Law Department who tries to enforce them. Two words: IMPEACH ME (betcha can't).

If Palin is referring to George Bush, Then she's right. He became the Decider, among other things, and did what he damned well pleased. There were no consequences. That's the first time Sarah Palin ever made an accurate statement. If the president does it it's all right. ANNA

Could you imagine a Republican Party without Sarah Palin?

Also, Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh are national treasures.

I couldn't imagine it. It's good to see that she will continue, possibly for years, with her arm locked around the drowning party's neck in a stranglehold.

I might wish her good luck in beating all of those criminal state embezzlement charges, but really I would wish her no more than a fair day in court. Let the ex-Governor's innate honesty carry her through.

Just when you think you've heard her say the stupidest thing EVER, she tops herself...what an IDIOT!
Her idiocy is only surpassed by those that support her, and think she should be President.

What can you expect of someone who claims foreign policy expertise because she lives in proximity to Russia and who hasn't even heard of the "Bush Doctrine"? She's dumb as a post and getting dumber all the time. You betcha.

Unfortunately, she is the most famous Alaskan and her fellow Alaskans don't like that one bit. They just grew weary of the justified ridicule they've endured since she first became a celebrity "Stepford" bimbo.

Alaska, we know most of you are not like her!

Her resignation is a huge blessing. She has proven, again, to be a rookie, a quitter, someone who cannot take heat. Can you imagine how quickly EVERYONE IN THE WORLD would march right in, call in their notes? She has has learned NOTHING! UNTEACHABLE! NARCISSISTIC! STUPID! Sarah - go lick your wounds. Work on a smaller, more manageable level - girl scout troop leader, cheer squad coach, paralegal. Not to demean those jobs and efforts. Just GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN... you are melting.

Okay, Okay, she misspoke.
Heck-fire (hack-far), we ALL do that, yes?
Does make one wonder, though ...
You know, there IS (I'm pretty sure) BOTH a capable Department of Lobotomy & a damn good (24/7) Department of Quaaludes in the White House (Officed in the same rooms where they used to hide the Department of Law)! I also understand one can sign-up for a "place in line" to make use of those fine Services –– much like the folks who signed-up for JackO's funeral services. I'm just sayin' ... but it's never too early to add one's name to such lines. Just in case ...

Wouldn't it be pretty off-putting if she became our first President-in-Waders. Serious Dress Code change.

The obvious solution to all of this, um, "stuff," beyond trying to ignore/forget that barely concealed mental space that echoes in that tawny headbone, like dying wolve's howls, is to STOP COVERING this woman ...

Moronic Bush-Speak Lives! (Bumper Sticker, perhaps? Shudder, run awayyyyy!)

If Alaska has a DoL instead of a state DoJ (which my home state of Wisconsin does), she's just using the term she's used to.

Milwaukee and its metro area is the only place in the world where the native term for a drinking fountain is "bubbler". Years of living in other parts of the country never erased "bubbler" from my vocabulary. It's what I'm used to.

That doesn't mean, however, that I've changed my mind about her being an ignorant ass. However, making fun of her use of "DoL" for "DoJ" is like calling the President un-American for preferring mustard to ketchup on his cheeseburgers.

Surely has to be, when referring to her Down Syndrome child, Trig (and claiming falsely that he had been targetted by the media)she said "Trig needs me and I know that I need Trig. The World doesn't need less Trigs, it needs MORE Trigs"

so the world needs MORE Down Syndrome children?
