Sign of the Apocalypse: Mike "Heckuva Job Brownie" Now Hosting Radio As a Political/Gov't Expert

So I'm driving home after finishing up my drive-time radio show here on AM760 in Colorado, and I'm flipping through the stations and I come upon 850 KOA - the local conservative station. There's a host on there filling in for the regular guy - and this guest host has a vaguely familiar voice. He's whining and moaning about how he's among the richest 5 percent in the country and is being oppressed by the tax system. He's reading the script with the usual lies - all of them addressed and debunked in my most recent column. I'm getting mildly irritated listening to the drivel - but then become apoplectic when I hear this person introduce himself as Michael Brown.

Yes, Mike "Heckuva Job, Brownie" Brown. On the airwaves. As a political/governmental expert.

I. Shit. You. Not.

If this isn't definitive proof of reverse gravity and wingnut welfare, I really don't know what is. This guy is literally the international posterboy for incompetence - a guy who basically did nothing while an American city drowned. And just four short years later, he's on the airwaves as a serious political/governmental expert.

Help drown an American city, become a global symbol for incompetence, and then successfully promote yourself as an "expert" and obtain a top-5-percent salary...I'm adding that phenomenon to my list of serious Signs of the Apocalypse.

P.S. Listen in to AM760 tomorrow between 7am and 10am Mountain Time (9am-12pm ET) - we're going to go point-by-point through Brownie's tax lies. As the data will show, he's indeed doing "a heckuva job" with the truth.

Digg!

Kent Hance, chancellor of Texas Tech University, hired Gonzales to teach a class in political science and to consult on minority hiring. Never mind that Gonzales has no political science degree, academic qualification, or experience in minority hiring. (FYI, tenure and tenure-track faculty opposed his hiring both because of Gonzales' dubious ethics and his lack of credentials).
After Heckuva Job Gonzo, Heckuva Job Brownie is a perfectly logical next step. With these standards, no wonder Republicans wreck governments (and everything else they touch).

...after all... "conservatives" gladly welcomed felons and traitors like G. Gordon Liddy and Oliver North back into the fold with their own TV or radio shows. How long till Skooter Libby has his own show?

For those who don't know: KOA USED TO BE a relatively legitimate news and balanced talk station some years ago. It broadcasts on what must be the strongest signal in the Denver area. (Years ago, when I had a crystal radio, and listened to it some 70 miles away from KOA's transmitter in Colorado Springs, which had many AM radio stations itself, the only signal that came in clearly was KOA's.)
Well, then the Fairness Doctrine went out the window, and BOOM, conservative talk erupted like the infected pustule on Rush's butt all over the airwaves, coming from KOA and from many other stations in town.
(KOA is owned by Clear Channel. Need I say more?)

Great correlation!!!when Brown's total credibility should have forever been smacking the ground, he now is speaking of politics to a radio audience. Un-(-)-believable!!!

If Brownie has a call-in period, there is one thing that can everyone can do to help drown this fool in his own incompetance: call en mass and simply ask ONE question of him: "Hello, my name is xxx and what I wanna' ask is this: is this the same Mike Brown, the same incompetant boob who helped drown Looseeana?"

Just keep it up. Be relentless about it. Don't ask or say anything else.
