Palin Thinks Hillary is a Whiner

Posted by Melissa McEwan, Shakesville at 2:19 PM on August 29, 2008.

These days Palin is all about praising Hillary's efforts, but she used to sing a different tune.

Sarah Palin, earlier today:

I can't begin this great effort without honoring the achievements of … Senator Hillary Clinton, who showed such determination and grace in her presidential campaign.

Sarah Palin, last March:

[At the NEWSWEEK Women & Leadership Event in Los Angeles], Palin talked about what women expect from women leaders; how she took charge in Alaska during a political scandal that threatened to unseat the state's entire Republican power structure, and her feelings about Sen. Hillary Clinton. (She said she felt kind of bad she couldn't support a woman, but she didn't like Clinton's "whining.")

Charming.

Does Selecting Clinton Mean Obama's Focused on Human Rights?
I'm hoping that this selection means the president-elect is going to put some much-needed emphasis on global human rights.

Sorry Sara, you're not in her league. You're gonna fill a job and then get sidelined so Cheney can conduct his 'business as usual'. You'll be allowed to get the coffee and maybe some clerical work. Smarten up lady. Stay in Alaska and take care of your children. ANNA

looking at this woman. Don't trust her at all. Don't think she's need Cheney behind her to do a LOT more damage to this country. Something about her gives me the creeps...but them, most anything associated with McSenile gives me the creeps.

While most Hillary supporters will see through this as pandering with a capitol P,there is another reason McCain picked Geraldine Palin: I've been listening to NPR fawn over her all day (how much more so the FOX News) about taking on the "old boys network," the oil companies, the corruption in the Republican party, how she will "charm" the pants off everyone in debates with Biden....
I'm sure her "maverick" image will be played up, effectively un-linking McSame with the Bush legacy.
Dems better get busy digging up dirt and branding her before the rant-wing noise machine imprints their image of her on the electorates subconscious.

cheering for those before her, Clinton and Ferraro. Maybe it was piped in, or they passed out new Kool-Aid for the event.

Hillary's camapign was a mix off using women and re affirming sexists stereotypes.
Trying to divide the Equal Right Movement between White Females and everyone else- an outrage. Women give birth to both genders, all races, ethnic, religious and sexual preferences. WOMEN ARE THE EQUAL RIGHTS MOVEMENT!
and we have been fighting against the 'little lady' adage which has been used to keep us subserviant. Don't lower the bar, Don't change the Rules, don't open that Door For Me- i am perfectly capable without your assistance!
BUT PALIN!!!!
I gotta give Hillary the fact she has realized Women are the most diverse and stedfast group of all. WE WILL NOT BE DIVIDED!
Women stopped voting for every female who ran- because we learned we don't agree with them Just because they wear pierced ears & Pumps.
So Johnny Boy, Palin will not be enough 'lipstick' to hide your policy Pigs.
