The NY Times has a great piece today about American Muslim artists who are creating videos like this one to challenge stereotypes about Islam.

In December 2007, over 2,000 American Muslims were asked what they wished they could say to the world. This is what they said.

My only problem is my daughter is Muslim but she is blonde and green eyed, didn't see that. Malcolm X found out on his hac(turkish spelling)and realized he was praying next to persons that only his words do justice to. This caused his assasination by the NOI under orders by Elijah Muhammed. all colors shapes sizes and COLORS. But I truly LOVED it, people need to see this and I will pass it on........... Thanks!
