Rudy Giuliani is running for office on how he handled 9/11 and here we have proof positive that firemen were killed because his administration did not fix the long-standing (since 1993!) problems with the radios.

This BNF investigative report calls attention to four key questions about Rudy's handling of the broken radios from firemen's families and experts:

* Why was nothing done to improve NYFD radio performance for seven years after a clear need was demonstrated in the 1993 World Trade Center attack?

* When new radios were finally ordered, why did the city block other companies besides Motorola from bidding on the contract?

* Once Motorola was given the contract, why did its cost jump from $1.4 million to $14 million?

* Why were these new radios never tested?

These questions should and must be investigated. New York City councilman Eric Gioia has the power to begin an investigation. If we can garner enough attention and signers, we have a major opportunity to help launch an investigation.

The radio issue is a red herring. We want to know who decided that demolishing two huge buildings with people inside of them and to then blame it on arab-muslim extremists.

THE RADIOS

Motorola supposedly recalled all the radios in March or April '01. They were replaced. The Motorola annual report cover picture showed NYC firmen on 9/11 with Motorola radios. It had been printed without permission (required) from NYC. That started a scene. Apparently the radios were not as reliable as they should have been, and no central command had been established. We all know the rest. We are still not prepared for much of anything! Thanks, ANNA

Giuliani's "bad radios" are not even a red herring

There is so much wrong with an official 9/11 fairytale that no one with a basic clue could take it seriously.

For Rudy "9/11" Giuliani to line his pockets on the way to a presidential race based on his criminal performance that day is an insult to all Americans.

Giuliani needs to explain the crime

Giuliani needs to explain why he hurried up and removed the twin towers and building 7 debri when it was a crime scene. Any other crime scene would be investigated throughly before removing it. This is what everyone should be asking and making him accountable for this blatant violation. As for the Motorola account, the difference between 1.4 million dollars and 14 million dollars is a must to investigate. Not one thing that Guliani has stated makes any sense what so ever. I believe he is a very evil and greedy man. I believe someone needs to investigate his bank accounts and his family bank accounts and find out where he is getting all his money. That should include if Motorola donated to Guliani presidential campaign.

This story really got to me. Many years ago, I was a city manager for a small town. When it came time to solicit bids for new 2-way radios, I asked the police and fire chiefs to prepare bid specs for me. After the bid notice was published, I received a visit from a Uniden rep. who told me that the specs had actually been prepared by Motorola and were designed so that only their radios met this spec. Though, I was troubled by this info., I felt I hadn't the expertise to challenge the chiefs. Hadn't thought about that episode in years until this article reminded me.
