Nomi Prins, author of It Takes a Pillage: Behind the Bailouts, Bonuses, and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street, discusses why giving more power to the Federal Reserve is pure folly. It's an institution, she says, that deserves to be split apart.

Like asking whether or not the fat man is going to stand up...

...to his hamburger.

Or if the beekeeper is going to stand up against his bees.

Or if the mailman is going to stand up to the post office.

If Obama doesn't do his job for the people who put him in office, how is he ever going to get enough bribe money (campaign funds) to win another election on a vapid slogan like "Change!"? It costs money to befuddle that many folks into 'believing'.

to ones self..Obama was Wall Streets largest recipient of political contributions, followed by Rahm...

If Obama stands up at all it will only to be to applaud the money changers, and ask for more!!!!

Nobody but a complete fool or sellout could pretend Obama (with DC and the media) are not bought and paid for.

HR 1207

HR 1207 is a bill with over 240 endorsements to audit the Federal Reserve. It was presented by Con. Ron Paul. Why not start out with such an audit BEFORE the Fed is split apart? It can always be split apart afterwards. Con. Paul, of course, has eliminating the Fed altogether as his main goal, not that this bill would do it. A fight over whether to have central banking has been fought over since the days of the Founding Fathers. George Washington was for it, I think, and Thomas Jefferson was against it.
