We know the talking heads of Fox aren't the most brilliant bulbs in the bunch, but this one takes the cake. MediaMatters documented Fox News host Brian Kilmeade's commentary on the London attacks' relationship to the G8 Summit: "I think that works to our advantage, in the Western world's advantage, for people to experience something like this together."

UPDATE: Brit Hume jumps into the fray of "advantages" of the London attacks: "I mean, my first thought when I heard -- just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, 'Hmmm, time to buy.'" (MediaMatters)

Millions of people are suffering starvation, milllions of people are dying of an AIDS epidemic, and millions of people were brutalized under one of the largest genocides in recent history...and the main topic of the G8 should be terrorism?! I'm sorry, but is there something racist about this comment?

Yes, it's very good for Western nations for yet another 'terrorist' attack on civilians, or should he have said 'useful'?

Read between the lines. As our Parliament are 'debating' the passage of ID cards and the G8 Summit is in progress, what better time to rip people apart, throw them into reactive terror, numb them into believing there's an 'outside' threat?

And what if enough people were open to information on the truth behind such attacks? What if we're not going to take this horse-shit anymore?

Next it'll be an Alien invasion to further curb any sense of personal freedom.

Why would Fox make any different type of statement? Who owns Fox anyway? Yeah, there you have the root of our problems, there you have the culprits. Same guys that roped USA into WW1,WW11 and now WW111.

As if we British didn't know about 'terrorist' attacks! We've suffered a series of such under the the so-called IRA for many years. You Americans know this, as American tourism to the UK dwindled as a result.

No, Fox is wrong. It wasn't until 911 that Americans for the first time experienced the horror of being blown to smithereens under the guise of an outside terrorist attack.

And since then, the American people have been questioning and have found some very interesting answers. Waking them up from complacency.

If any good is to come from all this, we need to turn the tables and route out the lowlife scum perpetrating these horrors, and they are at the top of our governmental, commercial and religious institutions.

I live in hope ... yet when I learn that the only reason the British are against ID cards is the COST in £ terms, not the cost in liberty, I fear my hope is false. Mind you, this type of propoganda comes from Zionist-controlled media, so is hardly trustworthy.

I need a big warm pint of British bitter, so bye for now.

By that measure, when the world is in total armageddon and warfare, then Fox News will have its ultimate entree.

"Fox News: The modern bible of today"

After all, they're just being fair and balanced. They must feel terrorists and murderers don't have enough of a voice in this world, to share their opinion of the advantages of terrorist attacks.

Burn in hell, warmongers. Culture of Life.

TERRORIST ATTACKS, BUSH PROTECTS US

I often wonder of our distractions. The omnipresent “fear”, I believe is a distraction. I believe the war on terrorism may be. The idea of voting for Bush so that we might be safer was, for me, a diversion. I touch on this in my morning treatise. Please feel “Free” to read and reflect. Comments are welcome!

Click here to understand FOX talking heads

Any question you have about what FOXNEWS' talking heads spew, may I suggest you take a peek at this site and begin the comprehsion process of folly, farce and innuendo diatribed by (Rupert Murdock'S memos to staff) FOXNEWS. Most networks report news, but FOX (Murdock) creates it in memos and has neocon clones dispatch it using "some people say.." as their source. Real credible, yes? I kid you NOT!

If only America had listened to the good folks at outfoxed. org instead of FOX's bombastic patriotic hypocricy, the country wouldn't be up to its proverbial elbows in the ongoing devastating murder and mayhem of the Iraqi conflict. Lies, they're liars, liars tell lies. Fearful lies, and as I've often cited:

TERRORISTS AND LIBERATORS, ENGLAND AND IRAQ ©

I wish to express my apology or realization. On the morning of July 7, 2005, after the terrorist attack in London, I was engrossed in the thought “terrorism will happen, if terrorist desire to create it.” I offered my words for others to read; however, belatedly, I realized I did not write of London.

I did not discuss the life, death, and injuries in England. I neglected mentioning how similar and different these are to those in Iraq. I overlooked the oblivious parallels between Bush, Blair, and bin Laden. In the evening, I wrote a missive discussing these.

I invite you to visit my site again and to read a more recent and relevant treatise. I thank you for your understanding and comments!

Fox News Slammed Over 'Callous' Line(s)

Fox News Slammed Over 'Callous' Line
by Julian Borger in Washington

Rupert Murdoch's Fox News channel was under fire yesterday for comments by some of its leading journalists in response to the London bombs.

Speaking about the reaction of the financial markets, Brit Hume, the channel's Washington managing editor, said: "Just on a personal basis ... I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought 'hmm, time to buy'."

The host of a Fox News program, Brian Kilmeade, said the attacks had the effect of putting terrorism back on the top of the G8's agenda, in place of global warming and African aid. "I think that works to our advantage, in the western world's advantage, for people to experience something like this together, just 500 miles from where the attacks have happened."

Another Fox News host, John Gibson, said before the blasts that the International Olympic Committee "missed a golden opportunity" by not awarding the 2012 games to France. "If they had picked France instead of London to hold the Olympics, it would have been the one time we could look forward to where we didn't worry about terrorism. They'd blow up Paris, and who cares?" He added: "This is why I thought the Brits should let the French have the Olympics - let somebody else be worried about guys with backpack bombs for a while."

Media Matters for America, a watchdog and frequent critic of Fox, criticized the comments on its website. "I think it's absolutely sickening three Fox anchors had such callous reactions to the bombings that took dozens of lives," said the Jamison Foser, of the group.

The Fox News media relations office had not responded by the time the Guardian went to press yesterday.
