Somebody's nose must be growing... and it's Pinocchio Sidney McWhichWayIsUp:

After reporting that the McCain campaign held a townhall with Democrats and Independents, Fox's Shepard Smith admitted that the McCain campaign had done no such thing. "We have now received a clarification from the campaign and I feel I should pass it along to you. The McCain Campaign distributed tickets to supporters, mayor Bloomberg, who of course is a registered republican, and other independent groups."
Oh-h-h, so that's what happens to J Sid's memory after he eats recalled tomatoes.

Wait.. this just in: Oliver Willis, I can hardly hear you over that crowd snoring in the background! There hasn't been a mass drugging, has there? Is this the work of terrorists? Hold on, I'm getting a picture on my iPhone... and... why... everyone there is awake! And... I can barely make it out... it's a little grainy... they're entirely white!
Right now John McCain is doing a “town hall” meeting being broadcast by Fox News (The Official Network of McCain ‘08, Home Of The Terrorist Fist Bump) and it’s a mighty amazing trick the McCain camp is pulling. Somehow they’ve gone to the most diverse city in America (New York City) and are seemingly unable to find minorities willing to attend.
That's some story! Did you manage to grab some shots of the event? What a scoop! Good work, Oliver! Stay safe.

Digg!

Perfect arena for Mac to Gaffe himself further out of the running- plus the great liklihood He'll Implode in the Process.Get One Real unpaid, Non Insider demanding answers for his Ever changing stance, One Soldiers Mom and we will watch Mac Lose it- Literally & figuratively, A Public Spectacle. He's as good 'on his feet' as W.- Let them 'Free associate' it hands US great insight to their motives, their Intellect, Core personalities flaws (hell of a irrational Temper on Mac- Inborn or Torture induced.the cause is Irrelevant, but the consequences remain the same) AND Further Confessional Evidence!
Obama's missteps were actually just ugly Truths. Same for Rev Wrights. We do cling to Our Guns & god- last two rights and freedom left standing. Actually Mac slipped and spoke even more Poignantly- we cling to our Guns and the Constitution-freudian Slip, feeling something nagging You Mac?
Rev Wright only spoke the Truth regarding the fact AIDS was allowed to reach epidemic Proportion (Again irrelavnt where it started- the consequences of Ignoring it was the Same- Unnecessary deaths) and God Damn the America Run by Incs and their Cold Calcualting Business Stratedgies- They have Killed countless, endangered far more and have ruined our Reputation. He did Not Say God Damn AmeircaNs.
So Bring Your Antiquated Playbook for Mac to Recite (or Try) and you can even pull a few pages from the chapters Hillary has Penned. We are Ready...I'm giddy with anticipation!

I don't know if it was personal, but near the end of this clip, McCain clearly makes a point of avoiding shaking hands with the only obviously non-WASP in the room - a guy wearing a yarmulke. The gentleman clearly offers his hand and McCain actually steps back to avoid him. I wonder what Lieberman has to say about that?

McCain can get a decent turnout in a small town hall. Obama can get 75,000 to show up and thankfully he's not buying into McCain's 'small intimate gathering' plan. This is a presidential election not a Tupperware party. Thanks, ANNA

exactly HOW? He's learned well from the current occupant of the White House, hasn't he?

Remember when a real, non-hand-picked human who slipped by the audience graders would stand and ask a question in one of Bush's speeches?

Off-duty NFL linebackers would take the person down and drag them to God knows where. Guantanamo, probably.

If McCain doesn't like flaws in the composition of his audience, what are the odds that he'll put up with being challenged by someone he thinks he's paid to sit and listen?

I wonder how a regular person can get in to one of those things. Caution: excellent health insurance would be a necessity.
