Rush Limbaugh Wants Obama "Bloodied Up", Encourages Listeners to Vote for Hillary

Limpbaugh is such a class act, isn't he?

Limpbaugh is such a class act, isn't he?

"We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically. It's obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it, they don't have the stomach for it," Limbaugh continued. "As you probably know we're getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying we're not going to be critical. Mark McKinnon of McCain's campaign said he'll quit if they get critical over Obama. This is the presidency of the United States we're talking about. I want our party to win I want the Democrats to lose."

He's encouraging today's voters to go for Hillary.

"I want Hillary to stay in this...this is too good a soap opera," Limbaugh told fellow conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham on Fox News Friday. [...] He also said Clinton is more willing than the Republican National Committee and John McCain's campaign to criticize Barack Obama.

Does this kind of campaigning work? Or this kind? The answer should be "no", but unfortunately, negativity works, and we all end up losing.

****

UPDATE:

I guess voters are a little weary of a president who has the intellectual horsepower of a domestic turkey.

According to a new Fox News/Washington Times/Rasmussen reports poll out today, Republicans like Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) nearly as much as they like McCain. The survey -- of likability -- isn't indicative of whether they'd vote for Obama over their own nominee -- but it could suggest problems for McCain down the road, should Obama become the Democratic nominee.

Equally troubling for Republicans is that the survey showed that party supporters think Obama is smarter than McCain.

Maybe the next poll will show that Republicans have figured out that Keith Olbermann, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, and Randi Rhodes are smarter and more likable than Rush. But I doubt it.

Well, I have been wondering why Rush and Coulter and the like have been threatening to campaign for Hillary. Now we know.

Death to Partisan Politics

I keep praying for a National Epiphany. That people will come to understand that the interests of the Republican Party, or the interests of the Democratic Party, are not necessarily the best interests of the people of The United States of America.
These Partisans effectively spit on the people with every attempt to undermine the Constitution.
They have tried to undermine or destroy everything I was taught to value in our Country.

At some point people will write books detailing how the cons went reverse psychology this election and won it - and in the next election most likely be honest about what they don't like, which of course no one will trust, and win again, like pointing the camera in the mirror. Brilliant use of Sumerian crowd logic, sadly.

NO crossover vote whatsoever; NO GOP reported voting for Hillary in exit polls.

So much for THAT bit of nth hour backpedaling. Even Limbaugh can't be the kiss of death for Hillary.

Is anybody besides me wondering if Rush Limbaugh's inveighing his listeners to vote for Hillary so they could "bloody" Obama worked in Texas? I noticed in the exit polls that there was a high percentage of white men who voted for her, and it has been quite well known that most white male Texans despise Hillary! What is the thinking out there??

that 8% of the Democratic primary vote in Texas on Tuesday was Republicans voting for Hillary.

Guess Rush has gotten what he wants now.

The most amazing part of this scam is not that the republicans would attempt it, but that so many of you dolts are falling for it. Hasn't it occured to you, that the opposite is what the republicans are attempting to pull off? Do you really think that Limbaugh and Coulter are acting to set the democrats straight? It's depressing that they know so many of us to be so stupid, that they can fashion the perfect methond to further depress the Hillary vote. How do you do it? Simple. Pretend to support the Hillary vote. Make it seem that you're supporting Hillary, and all these nitwits will take you seriously. These saavy democrats, especially the really saavy ones, the undecided ones, will believe the biggest bunch of liars and cheats in the universe, and refuse to vote for Hilary. Serves her right. Haven't we all heard that Hillary is the devil (from CNN, MSNBC and other "trusted names in the news")?
