Jane D'Arista is an economist at U-Mass Amherst, and a former staff economist for the Banking and Commerce Committees of the U.S. House of Representatives. She and Gerald Epstein are co-coordinators of SAFER-- a coalition of economists for Stable, Accountable, Fair and Efficient Financial reform.
