Dayo Olopade is a journalist and author of The Bright Continent, a book about African genius. She has written extensively on global politics, development, and technology in publications including the Atlantic, the American Prospect, Democracy, Foreign Policy, the Guardian, the Nation, the New Republic, and the Washington Post. She holds degrees in literature and in African studies from Yale University, where she currently reads law, in hipster glasses.
